ACDP Welcomes High Court decision

African Christian Democratic Party MP and spokesman on Justice, Steve Swart today welcomed the judgement by the Cape High Court at 16h30, in suspending the package of legislation pending the outcome of a Constitutional Court application.

Mr Swart said that the ACDP has always been on record as opposing the package of legislation allowing “crossing the floor” and will consider intervening in the proceedings together with the UDM.
