ACDP offers condolences to Roman Catholic Church

On behalf of the ACDP, I would like to express our most sincere condolences to the family of Pope John Paul II and all Catholics throughout the world.

Pope John Paul II would be remembered as a Pope who worked tirelessly for
unity and peace in the areas of conflict, and for his commitment to biblical
morality in the world. His conviction that abstinence from pre-marital sex
and faithfulness in marriage is the key to solving HIV/Aids problem in the
world and his opposition to homosexual marriage won him many friends in
the ACDP.

We trust that his successor will carry on from where he left particular in areas of morality and resist the temptation of political correctness that causes many church leaders to compromise on issues of Biblical morality.

We pray that the Holy Spirit will comfort his family, friends and his faithful followers worldwide.
