ACDP Commends SA Cares For Life

In a Motion Without Notice today, Cheryllyn Dudley MP for the African Christian Democratic Party, applauded an organization called South Africa Cares for Life, who have cared for countless numbers of pregnant mothers, and orphaned HIV/Aids babies.
Parliament unanimously accepted Mrs Dudleys motion, which follows hereafter:
That the house: -
Applauds South Africa cares for life who have served since 1996 as a Nationwide networking body for pregnancy care centers and homes for pregnant Mothers in South Africa;
Notes that their concern for people in the community, especially many abandoned, orphaned and HIV/AIDS babies and Children in need of care resulted in abba baby projects being founded in 1999 to provide babies and children with safe and loving care;
a) Abba baby nursery serves as an emergency and short term place of safety for babies found abandoned or infected with HIV/Aids with a view to adoption;
b) Abba care homes represents individual families who offer temporary care for babies and small children in their own homes;
c) Abba adoptions, a registered division of the AFM Executive welfare council, screens and prepares SA families to adopt children and inter-country adoptions are only encouraged when no suitable family can be found in South Africa.
Recognizes the exceptional vulnerability of these babies and the fact that they are entitled to special care and assistance;
Recognizes the right of every child to a family and home, which they can call their own.
Commends South Africa cares for life on the excellent work they are doing.
