NNP Provincial Youth leader joins ACDP.

Mr. Riaan Lamprecht, NNP youth leader in Gauteng has announced his resignation from the NNP and also the DA, to join the African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP). Lamprecht who also serves as deputy leader of the NNP’s federal youth committee said in a statement that he can no longer associate himself with the NNP’s involvement in the DA. According to Lamprecht, Christian principles are very important to him however the DA is focussing more on humanistic rather than Christian principles. He also feels that the DA is increasingly seen as an elite white party.

Various reasons are named as to why Lamprecht is joining the ACDP. Unlike the DA, the ACDP is not just focussed on becoming a strong opposition, but on becoming the government of the day. The support that the ACDP enjoys across all language and racial groupings, make the achievement of this vision entirely possible.

Mr. Pieter de Necker, deputy youth leader of the ACDP, welcomed Lamprech’s decision to align his political convictions to his Christian principles. According to De Necker various people that used to be either ANC or NNP members are joining the ACDP on a daily basis. People are tired of the mess South Africa is in and believe that the ACDP is the only party who truly have the answers to the moral and physical decline of our country.

De Necker, who is also the ACDP secretary general in the Pretoria Metro, says that further announcements will be made next week regarding more key people that are joining the ACDP. These include current Councillors and other NNP provincial youth committee members which will follow in Lamprecht’ s footsteps.

NNP Provinsiale Jeugleier sluit aan by ACDP.

Mnr. Riaan Lamprecht, NNP Jeugleier in Gauteng, het vandag sy bedanking as lid van die NNP asook DA aangekondig om homself by die African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) aan te sluit.

Lamprecht wat ook die onderleier van die NNP se federale jeugkommittee is het in ‘n verklaring gesê dat hy nie verder homself kan vereenselwig met die NNP se betrokkenheid by die DA nie. Volgens Lampbrech is Christelike waardes aan hom baie belangrik maar word daar deur die DA meer op humanistiese as Christelike beginsels gefokus. Verder word die DA al hoe meer gesien as ‘n party wat hoofsaaklik die belange van die elite wit kieser in ag neem.

Verkeie redes word deur Lamprecht genoem waarom hy besluit het om by die ACDP aantesluit. Anders as die DA is die ACDP nie net gefokus om ‘n sterk opposisie te word nie, maar op regerig oorname. Omdat dié party sterk ondersteuning in al die bevolkingsgroepe in Suid-Afrika het, is dit nie onmootlik om hierdie visie te bereik nie.

Lamprecht se aansluit by die ACDP is veral deur die Onderleier van die ACDP se Jeugliga, Mnr. Pieter de Necker, verwelkom. Volgens De Necker sluit daar daagliks mense aan as lidmate van die ACDP wat voorheen of ANC lede of NNP lede was. Baie van diegene wat by die party aansluit is moeg vir die situasie in die land en glo werklik dat die ACDP die enigste party is wat ‘n werkende antwoord het om die morele en fisiese agteruitgang van Suid-Afrika se stop.

De Necker wat ook ACDP Sekretaris Generaal in die Pretoria Metro is sê dat daar nog in die volgene week verdere aankondigings gemaak sal word aangaandende die oorloop van huidige stadsraadslede na die ACDP. Verkseie van die ander NNP Provinsiale Jeugkommiteelede het alreeds hulle steun aan Lamprecht getoon en sal binnekort in sy voetspore volg.
